The Internet, Observed
Three small DNS providers are passing domains between themselves in a closed loop. Kirklanddc.com absorbed four domains from its rivals, accepting betplace.us and lilnymph.com from magpiedns.com while pulling binchen.org, vihuxi.xyz, and omnidb.org from koaladns.com. At the same time, kirklanddc.com shed five domains to koaladns.com, including ntcollege.org, damascusapps.com, speedy.sh, sms4file.com, and japancinema.net. A careful reader should note that no domain entered from or exited to a provider outside this triad, and every observed move simply reshuffled the same three nameservers.
Koaladns.com took on a net inbound role despite the two way traffic. It received the five domains from kirklanddc.com mentioned above, plus litchfieldplantation.net from the same provider. Its outbound traffic went entirely to its two partners. It sent binchen.org, vihuxi.xyz, and omnidb.org to kirklanddc.com, while frdl.to and aitoolforbusiness.com departed for magpiedns.com.
Magpiedns.com operated as the primary off ramp for the rotation. It gained frdl.to and aitoolforbusiness.com from koaladns.com, plus bootstrap-switch.org made the same koaladns.com to magpiedns.com jump. Its only losses were betplace.us and lilnymph.com, both of which went to kirklanddc.com.
One domain broke the triad pattern entirely. Filmhd1080.video left koaladns.com but did not join kirklanddc.com or magpiedns.com, instead routing to brainydns.com. It was the sole observed move involving a fourth provider.
The complete set of observations confirms fifteen DNS provider changes across the window. All fourteen triad moves maintained strict circularity among kirklanddc.com, koaladns.com, and magpiedns.com.
