01 A foundry is not a pipe
Ore goes in. Metal comes out. It is not the same thing.
A pipe moves material through, unchanged: what comes out is what went in. A foundry smelts. It separates the metal from the slag and forges a new, clean material. TruthFoundry does not pass the news through. It breaks each report down to the facts inside, checks them against every other source, and forges a clean, sourced fact. What comes out is not the article. It is the metal.

We ingest the world's data. We bring the receipts.
The scan is global on purpose. Big publishers run many feeds each, so the record takes in tens of thousands of new articles every week: AP News, BBC, The Guardian, Al Jazeera, NHK, France 24, Le Monde, El Pais, Der Spiegel, Corriere della Sera, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Bloomberg, the Financial Times, NPR, The Economist, the South China Morning Post, The Hindu, The Straits Times, ABC Australia, and thousands more. Every fetch is signed at contact, not after cleanup.

04 The core element
The fact is the smallest unit of trust.

05 The fact lifecycle
The past never moves. The fact stays alive.
A fact is not frozen the moment we record it, and it is not quietly rewritten either. Every state it has ever held is locked, dated, and sealed. The fact keeps living on top of that history: it gets corroborated, it gets updated, and anyone can open a dispute. Each move is a new sealed link in the same thread. Nothing is erased; everything accrues. It is version control for reality.
The fact enters the record with its source and its receipt. That first state is locked forever.
Other sources report the same fact. Each confirmation is added to the thread, never merged over the original.
The value moves. The new state is added; the old one stays exactly as it was, dated and sealed. We do not edit the past.
Anyone can open a dispute against a fact. The challenge becomes a visible branch in the thread, with its own evidence and receipt. Nothing is hidden.

06 What we publish
Built from facts. Not from articles.
A fact is not owned. Expression is. We build on the fact.
TruthFoundry reads what the world reports and verifies the facts inside it. Everything we publish is written from those verified facts, with every source named and linked and every claim carrying its receipt. We do not reproduce articles. We build an original, provable record on the facts they report, and we send readers to the source.
Original work, on a factual foundation, with the work shown. That is the position, and it is the same one every serious reference has always stood on.
07 What we forge from facts

Every fact is signed at the source. Every step is recorded. Every claim is checkable offline, by anyone, with no account. Not because it is remarkable, but because it is the work done right, up front.
Change one character and the signature breaks. That is the point: the proof travels with the fact, so anyone downstream can re-verify it for themselves.

09 The record agrees
The standards bodies are moving the same way.
You can bind basic facts to a piece of media in a way that's unforgeable.
10 Agent-native
Humans get a newspaper. Agents get an API.
The facts are a product, not just a page.
Everything a reader sees, an agent can pull: the forged facts, the answers, the receipts, over one metered, signed door. Every row arrives with proof of where it came from.

11 What it stands on
The window is new. The foundation is not.
